Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 28 June 2026

This policy explains what personal data Softwine.LTD ("Softwine", "we", "us") collects when you visit softwine.net, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have. We aim to comply with the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Israel's Privacy Protection Law.

Who we are

Softwine.LTD is a fractional-CTO and founding-engineer practice. For any privacy question or request, contact us at contactus@softwine.net. We are the data controller for this website.

The short version

Cookies & similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and browser-storage items. Strictly necessary items are always active; analytics is only enabled after you give consent.

_ga, _ga_*Analytics (Google)Set by Google Analytics only after you accept. Distinguishes visitors and measures site usage.Up to 13 months

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. Analytics runs through Google Consent Mode and is set to denied by default, so no analytics cookies are written and only anonymous, cookieless signals (if any) are sent until you click Accept. When you accept, Google may process your IP address and usage data; Google acts as our processor. You can withdraw consent at any time using "Manage cookie preferences" above. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Booking a call

Our "Book a strategy call" buttons open Google Calendar Appointment Scheduling. If you book a meeting, the details you provide (such as your name, email, and any notes) are processed by Google to schedule the call and are shared with us so we can attend. This is handled under Google's terms and privacy policy.

On-site chat

The website includes a simple guided chat. Any answers you provide (which may include your name and email) are stored locally in your own browser (in localStorage) so your conversation isn't lost if you navigate around. If you submit the consultation form, the details you entered are sent to our server so we can respond to your enquiry. You can clear locally stored data at any time by clearing your browser site data.

Third-party content

Some assets (web fonts and icon styles) and embedded content load from third-party providers and content-delivery networks. When your browser requests these, the provider may receive your IP address and basic technical information as part of delivering the content. Our site is served by our hosting provider, which may keep standard server logs for security and reliability.

Legal bases (GDPR)

International transfers

Some of our providers (e.g. Google) may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Under Israel's Privacy Protection Law you may also request to review and amend information we hold about you. To exercise any of these, email contactus@softwine.net. If you are in the EU/UK you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children.
